Xiaomi is going to launch some of its products for sale on Tuesday. The company will make Redmi 5 available exclusively on e-commerce site Amazon and Mi.com at 12 noon on March 20, 2018. With the tweet, Xiaomi India announced that more than 4 lakh handsets of the Redmi 5 will be made available.
The prize of Redmi 5
Shawomi Redmi will be available in three variants of 5. Most Powerful Variants will come with 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage and it will cost Rs. 10,999 to buy it. There will be a variant of 3 GB RAM and 32 GB storage for Rs 8,999. The variant of 2 GB RAM and 16 GB storage variant is priced at Rs 7,999.
The Specifications of Redmi 5
In front of the phone, a 5-megapixel front camera with the oft light flash module is provided. The front camera comes with Smart Beauty 3.0 and Face Recognition. While the Redmi 5 has a 12-megapixel rear camera that comes with 1.25-micron pixel sensor and flash.
According to inbuilt storage, there are three variants – 16 GB, 32 GB, and 64 GB. All three variants will come with MicroSD card support.
Connectivity features include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.2, GPS / A-GPS and 3.5mm audio jacks.
It has a 5.7 inch HD + (720×1440 pixels) display which is equipped with 18:9 aspect ratios, 282 pixels per inch density and eye protection mode. Dual SIM Shoomi Redmi runs on MUI 9.
The dimensions of the handset are 151.8×72.8×7.7 millimeters and weight 157 grams. Sensors such as Accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope and proximity sensor are part of Redmi 5. It will be available in Black, Gold, Light Blue, and Rose Gold color.
Smartphone has an Adreno 506 GPU with an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor with 1.8 GHz clock speed. Customers will have the option to choose between 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM.
