Messenger Rooms allows users to make video calls and connect to private chat rooms through a link. Those who do not have Facebook account can also join this messenger room.
Let me tell you, Facebook launched its Messenger Rooms last month, in which more than 50 users can be part of the video calling session, whether they have a Facebook account or not. A few days later, the news of integration of Facebook Messenger Room was revealed on the beta version of the WhatsApp Android app.
WhatsApp has released a new version 2.2019.6 for its web. According to the news, the messaging service is now preparing to bring Facebook Messenger Rooms shortcuts to its WhatsApp Web and this feature is being worked on in this update. Currently, this shortcut to WhatsApp Web is under development.
The WABetaInfo report states that the work of adding Messenger Room shortcuts to WhatsApp 2.2019.6 web update is underway. Although these shortcuts will not be rollout for everyone through this update at the moment, but we show you how it will look. It was said that the main shortcut will be available in the chat section, where you see the option of photos, documents and contacts etc.
This shortcut will ensure that you want to continue it in Messenger. Apart from this, the report also said that you will also get the option to create a video chat room by going to the main menu. However, the date of when this new feature will be added on WhatsApp has not been announced yet.
Let me tell you, earlier on the beta version of the WhatsApp Android app, there was news of integration testing of Facebook Messenger Room. Through this new messenger room feature, users will be able to use group calling with 50 people simultaneously. Along with the news of WhatsApp integration, Facebook also announced that Messenger Room will also be introduced along with Instagram and Facebook portal.
As we mentioned earlier, Messenger Room allows users to make video calls and connect people to private chat rooms via a link. Those who do not have Facebook account can also join this messenger room. Facebook is planning to give a tough competition to video calling apps like Zoom with the launch of this feature.
