Sony Xperia Xz2 and Xperia Xz2 Compact Smartphone Launched

Sony has launched two new smartphones in its Xperia smartphone series. The smartphone is the Xperia XZ2 and Xperia XZ2 Compact. Sony did not reveal the value of its smartphones. Starting from the beginning of March this phone will be launched in select countries.

The Specification of Sony Xperia XZ2

  • Xperia XZ 2 has a 5.7-inch Full HD Plus (1080×2160 pixel resolution) trillion HDR display.
  • The phone will be made available in Liquid Black, Liquid Silver, Deep Green, and Ash Pink Color Variants.
  • The phone will be available in Single and Dual SIM (Nano) variants.
  • The phone will run on Android 8.0 Orao Out of the Box.
  • Xperia Z2 has a 19-megapixel motion-eyed rear camera, equipped with autofocus burst, 4 HDR recording, 8x digital zoom, and steady shot technology. The front has a sensor of 5 megapixels. It will be equipped with a 23 mm wide angle lens and a styled shot feature.
  • The handset is equipped with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor.
  • 4 GB RAM has been provided.
  • The phone has 64 GB UFS inbuilt storage. Facility to increase storage using up to 400 GB MicroSD card.
  • Powers the phone with 3,180 mAh battery, which is equipped with Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0 technology.
  • In terms of connectivity, features like USB-Type C, Bluetooth 5.0, NFC, GPS, GLONASS, Wireless Charging and Google Cast have been added to the phone. The fingerprint sensor is in the rear of the phone. The weight of the phone is 198 grams.

  • Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor works in the handset. 4 GB of RAM has been provided for Jugalbandi. The phone will be available in black, white silver, moss green and coral pink color variants.
  • Xperia XZ2 is a compact single/dual sim (nano) smartphone, which runs on Android 8.0 Orio (Out of the Box). The phone has a 5.0 inch full HD Plus trillion HDR display.

  • 4 GB RAM on both phones.
  • Both smartphones will run on the Android 8.0 Audio.
  • All other specifications are identical in both smartphones.
  • Both phones have 64 GB internal storage, which can be expanded up to 400 GB with a microSD card.
